Abstract

The aim of the present study was to review the experiences of people with cerebral palsy from injuries and social interactions. For this purpose, the lived experience of people with cerebral palsy was explained with the phenomenological method. The data was collected using purposive sampling, which was through semi-structured interviews and was analyzed using Collazi method. The analysis of the data obtained from the interviews led to the identification of 8 categories of basic restrictions on injuries and social interactions, which include restrictions on sharing social experiences, restrictions on jobs and education, restrictions on social activities, and restrictions on management. Everyday affairs are limitations in cultural and psychological experiences, limitations in health and treatment experiences, limitations in the use of technology, limitations in independence and self-sufficiency.
